Wedding Photography

First off: your wedding day is your day, not mine. I’m there to document it as it happens, when it happens. My aim is always to capture all the emotion, all those bits you miss and all those important parts you’ve planned, organised and dreamed about over the last however many months or years.

I want to be able to both seamlessly slot into your wedding day unobtrusively but also manage those groups and pesky guests that have gone to check-in before they are supposed to! I’m good at this. I’ve had lots of practice.

I want to chat to your grandad about things you did when you were little, help your bridesmaids when they can’t do up their dress and put those button holes on the blokes, because trust me they never have a clue how to do that.

My years of experience and my love of people allows you and your wedding party to feel relaxed and comfortable in my presence. Where possible a physical meet-up, Zoom or phone chat is a good idea prior to the wedding so we can all get to know each other a bit more.

Although I’d describe my style as relaxed and informal, I will still get all those key shots. I’m all about those candid snaps when you don’t know I’m even taking the picture but I’m also there to guide you and help you get some beautiful natural shots of the pair of you together and also some lovely family/friends group shots. It’s so important to get the balance right, I don’t want to drag you away from the fun. You want to have a drink with your mates, chat to your gran and generally be part of the party that you’ve spent so much time and energy organising.

On the whole I aim to capture your day in such a way that when you look through your images you are transported back, you can re-live your day and all those happy/sad/funny emotions are evoked.
