Frequently Asked Questions

My style is very relaxed and natural, there won’t be any awkward posing or standing around for hours on end. The aim is to capture your day as it unfolds in an unobtrusive manner.
I always recommend that you check your venue has indoor space for pictures. It’s also wise to take umbrellas and a change of shoes if you’re going to be walking on grass. I always keep an eye on the weather, if I see a window of sunshine during your meal I will come and find you.
Yes I am fully insured with Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.
Absolutely, after all it’s not everyday you are all toegether and in your finery! It’s good to get the balance right, nobody want to spend hours on end standing around so I have a recommended group shot list.
A £250 booking deposit is required to secure all dates with the balance payment due a month prior to the wedding. The completion of a booking contract is also required.
Your online gallery with all your images will be available between 6-8 weeks after the wedding.

Do your research! Yes there are a lot of us, and looking can be a bit of a minefield. I would definitely say that if you like my style, can visualise your day when you look at my images then this is a great start. A chat, meet up or Zoom chat is always a great idea, I love getting to know people, and the more we know about each other the more relaxed you’ll be feeling on the day.

Fortunately due to the length of time I’ve been photographing weddings I’ve forged some great relationships with other wedding photographers. I myself have stepped in last minute to cover a photographer and I know I can rely upon others to do the same for me. I am of course responsible for organising suitable cover should it be required. To date I have never missed a wedding due to illness.

A lot of time, love and devotion goes into the editing of your images. I have my own unique style of editing which I apply to all my shoots, whether it be weddings, portraits or commercial. I will supply you with a mixture of colour and black and white images.

Unless we have agreed otherwise I do share some images online. As with most industries posting on social media is great way to engage with your clients & share what you’ve been up to. It’s also gives potential clients a glimpse into your style.

In UK law, copyright belongs to the person who took the photographs. Although I retain the copyright, I will allow you to use your images for printing and sharing purposes as per my contract with you. I would much rather you have all your images to treasure forever.

I keep your images for 6 months after they were taken. I strongly advise that when you receive your images from me you make several backups, and where possible on more than one device. I cannot be held liable for any lost data after you have received your images.
