Jen + Hugh

Jen + Hugh got married on the 4th May 2019 at Foxholes Farm in Bradfield. The pictures speak for themselves really about this setting, it’s absolutely glorious and just perfect for this laid-back pair.

When I first met Jen I totally got their idea for the day. This was to be a relaxed day, with friends and family gathered to help them enjoy and celebrate in style. And this is what happened!

I arrived at the cottages where Jen was getting ready, everything was going to plan, the dress was hung up and the Doc Martens had been worn in!

I loved everything about the layout and styling of the day. The ceremony was to take place outside on hay-bales – with I might add blankets, it wasn’t the warmest of days, but who cares it was dry for the ceremony and we were all outside, hurrah!!

The ceremony incidentally was perfect and conducted by the very lovely celebrant Gwyneth Owen-Jackson. It was personal and had all the touches you would want, with all the emotions coming out at various stages.

After the ceremony the wedding party bombarded the pair with lots of confetti which was great and with that backdrop you really could not go wrong!

Then afterwards we did some photographs in and around Foxholes – wherever you stand things look amazing!

The evening was filled with laughter, eating, drinking and dancing!! And a lot of it in the form of a very energetic Ceilidh and the icing on the cake was Hugh coming out with all his Morris Dancing gang to thoroughly entertain the crowds…

What a day, I had a hoot! x

Laura + Andy

Laura + Andy got married on the 20th April 2019 at the lovely Peak Edge Hotel in Chesterfield.

I joined Laura and the girls getting ready ahead of the ceremony. Laura seemed very relaxed and everything seemed definitely under control! I was certain from the off this was going to be a great day and I wasn’t wrong!

Andy and his best man arrived shortly afterwards to do the last minute jobs and get ready for the arrival of the bride.

I particularly enjoyed the ceremony with the set-up at Peak Edge slightly different than usual and meaning that the guests were able to take in the beautiful gardens.

Speaking of the grounds, we were so so lucky with the weather!  Guests were able to enjoy plenty of sunshine after the ceremony and we had to seek shade for the group shots as it was that sunny! It also meant that after the meal the evening sun was looking glorious and we headed out for some more shots and to take in some more of the lovely surroundings.

It was a such a great day from start to finish and I can’t wish you guys enough future love and happiness, congratulations!! xx
