Erin + David got married on the 7th December 2018 in the most beautiful of settings that is Delamere Manor in Cheshire. My first wedding to date here but I do hope to return, it’s such a gorgeous place and a winner of many wedding venue awards.
I was amongst familiar faces on this day, having photographed Erin’s brother Shaun and sister-in-law Natasha’s wedding years previous – I do love catching up with couples and in this case their growing broods. Natasha is exceptionally talented herself and runs Mama’s Inc and was responsible for all the beautiful stationary in the images.
I arrived to a hive of activity with the girls busy having hair and make-up done. The bedrooms are all so beautiful in this venue, so it’s a lovely setting to get ready in. I adore that wardrobe we hung the dress on although I don’t think it would look very well placed in my house
David and his groomsmen arrived shortly after to get ready downstairs, exchange gifts and basically chill out and have a laugh, see pics!
Buddy the dog came too – yay! Everybody that knows me, knows that I get a little bit excited when there is a dog around at a wedding! He looked super smart in his bow tie.
The ceremony was a beautiful personal affair with some lovely stories about these two. The setting was the fabulous twinkly courtyard. The lighting is gorgeous in here and the flowers by Michelle were absolutely perfect.
After the service we stepped outside (into the cold, well it was December after all!!) it was gorgeous and sunny though so I’m pleased we got everybody out, they may have been blinded by the sun and a little bit cold but at least they were dry! We even managed a little trip in the golf buggy to cover some of the stunning grounds.
I could go on and on about the funny speeches, the brides brother singing for everybody and the late night dancing in the nightclub (once Gary Barlow’s recording studio, sorry I had to get this in!) but I think the images speak far better than my ramblings…
Also as ever great to work with other people on this day working with Michael from Capture My Big Day and Stefan from The Tall Toast Master, who were both giants I might add and made me feel even smaller than usual!
What an amazing wedding, I wish the three of you so much happiness x
