Kirsty + Liam

The special day for this pair was the 20th May 2017. The wedding ceremony took place at he wonderful town Hall in Sheffield with the reception at The Ridgeway Arms in Mosborough, Sheffield. Witnessing a couple getting married is a great privilege and this wedding was certainly no exception. Again I found myself at a wedding feeling very much part of the family having met everyone years previous at the wedding of Kirsty’s brother Chris. And family & great friends were really the key to this wedding for me. There was so much love, happy tears, hugging, laughing, kissing and lots and lots of frivolity. I don’t need to mention the weather but I will anyway only to say that all our plans for beautiful pictures in the Botanical Gardens were completely abolished when the heavens decided to open the minute we stepped off the bus… I feel it doesn’t matter in the slightest, it was the love than shone through on this day not the sunshine (sorry that’s a little cheesy but I really mean it!) Love to all of you and your gorgeous family, thanks for welcoming me with such open arms once again & a special mention to Kirsty’s amazing parents Jo & Jeff for particularly looking after me and taxiing me around on the day! x

Nicole + Paul

Nicole & Paul got married on the 19th May 2017. The venue they had chosen was The Maynard in Grindleford. This is one of my favourite wedding venues to work at and in a beautiful setting. I arrived on the morning to find Nicole getting ready with her Mum & sister. Everything was very laid-back and chilled, and having met Nicole & Paul weeks previous to the wedding I already knew that this would be the case. For them this day was all about enjoying the day with their close family and friends. The service was beautiful and a little emotional – happy tears are my favourite kind and there were a few of these shed. After the ceremony I drove Nicole & Paul out to Surprise View, a short drive away. It was definitely worth the trip and I love these pictures from the day, showing just the happy twosome. I wish you both so much happiness, you’re a lovely couple x
