Claudia & Chris got married on the 23rd July 2016. I was really looking forward to photographing this wedding from the moment I met this pair as it had lots of different elements which I love at a wedding. On the actual day I was not disappointed and indeed there were even more lovely things to photograph! First there was the family dog on arrival, always my favourite welcome when I arrive at a house! There was also lots of lovely colour involved in this day from Claudia’s hair to the bridesmaids dresses to the wedding cars which were very conveniently family-owned. The wedding ceremony took place in St Laurence Priory in Snaith, a very old and beautiful church. After the ceremony Chris drove himself and Claudia to their Teepee in a field on a farm in the little village of Pollington. I think this was a lovely touch. The farm was a splendid setting which I fell in love with. There were so many lovely little details that had been meticulously planned by them both I think the pictures do better justice than my rambling x
Kerry + Steve got married on the 22nd July 2016 at Ringwood Hall Hotel in Chesterfield. I’d photographed Steve’s sister Emma’s wedding years previous and also good friends of the family Emma & Jamie who were all at the wedding so it was great to be surrounded by so many familiar faces. It was also lovely to see the newest addition to the family – baby Alyssa – who was just the most photogenic flower girl I’ve ever seen! My day started at Kerry’s parents house – the girls were still at the hairdressers when I got there so me and Nigel (Kerry’s Dad) had a good old natter about our shared love of dogs When the girls arrived there was lots of excited usual bridal preparation interspersed with cuddles with Mollie dog. On arriving at Ringwood I caught up with the lads busy preparing (ahem drinking beer) in readiness for the ceremony. As planned, the ceremony took place outdoors in glorious sunshine with happy, smiley and sometimes teary people among the wedding party. After the ceremony we did the pics – Kerry I’m so happy I pulled off that heart-shaped group shot for you. The day flew by so quickly but fortunately the weather was still lovely after the meal and we headed outside for some more pics of the happy pair and of course some silly pics of the friends Fab day, I loved it.
