Barbara & Mark

This was another wedding I was particularly looking forward to this year & was to attend as both a guest and the photographer. It was the wedding day of Barbara & Mark on the 17th September 2011 at Tankersley Manor. I have known Mark all his life so was delighted to be asked to photograph the day having previously photographed Michelle’s – Mark’s sister & Bridesmaid, and Olly’s, the Best Man. So it was lovely to see so many familiar faces…  Babs you looked absolutely stunning on the day, and so many people complimented your gorgeous champagne gown, I absolutely loved it. We had what the weatherman would describe as ‘changeable’ weather with myself and Mark furtively darting in and out of Tankersley to assess the level of drizzle – we did get out on the lawn though – so thanks again to all the ladies for risking hat/fascinator ruin and sinking into the grass! The finale of the day was awesome, who said Elvis was dead!! This was a brilliant day from start to finish & with Mark’s detailed preparations and precise spreadsheets everything went without a hitch. For a bloke that said he would never get married you looked very very happy indeed ;) xxx

Kate & Ben

Kate & Ben got married on a sunny September day – Saturday the 10th. The location for the wedding was the stunning Hellaby Hall in Rotherham. Originally a 17th Century Manor House, this beautiful building along with its lovely gardens provides the perfect backdrop for a wedding. There was a lot of fun and laughter at this wedding. It was evident what a brilliant day everybody had. You both looked really happy – many congrats to the new Mr & Mrs Jackson :) xx
