I was really really excited for the wedding of Natalie & Liam last Saturday as when I met up with them both for the pre-shoot in Liverpool back in January they came armed with props! These were of the luggage variety which would provide the overall vintage travel theme of their wedding day. So I knew this was going to be quirky from the off which I absolutely love. It was also my first experience photographing a Humanist wedding ceremony – conducted by the lovely Marriage Celebrant, Ian France at The Racquet Club Hotel in Liverpool. The ceremony itself was a celebration of Natalie & Liam & included personal vows – just lovely (and funny ;)) and singing, but certainly not of the traditional type, I think this may possibly be the only wedding I will experience the full wedding party signing along to The Beatles, ‘Here Comes the Sun!’ After the ceremony the well drilled 3 ushers assisted me greatly when it came to co-coordinating Liam’s ‘cohorts’ for the group shots outdoors with the iconic Liver Building watching over us. A Big thanks again to the lovely Rebecca for being my official list ticker (please can I have you at all my weddings!) After these we headed off in the Vintage car for some more pics by Liverpool Town Hall, before returning to the beautifully decorated room and the wedding breakfast. A gorgeous wedding, with a wedding cake made entirely of cheese, what more can you ask for! Here are a few snippets… have a fabulous time in Venice xx
