Lyndsey + Phil

Lyndsey & Phil got married on the 4th June 2016. I joined the bridal preparations at Lyndsey’s parents house – it was very relaxed when I arrived and everything was going to plan :) I was made to feel really welcome from the minute I got there and I knew it was going to be a lovely wedding to photograph. I joined the men at St James’s church in Norton where they were dashing about doing final preparations before the arrival of the bride. The ceremony was beautiful, Lyndsey & Phil’s animated faces throughout it were a picture :) I’m pleased we were able to re-create some church doorway photographs – Lyndsey’s parents also got married at the same church – so we were keen to create the same iconic shots. After some confetti throwing the guests waved the happy pair off in their fabulous campervan thanks to Vintage Volksweddings. They went for a leisurely drive to the venue – I understand there was the very important task of finishing off some bubbly en-route ;) The reception was at Whirlowbrook Hall – I love it here and especially love the grounds and the woodland surrounding it. Lyndsey & Phil met whilst working on a cruise ship so their theme was very much centered around their favourite destinations. After the meal we headed out for some more pics… into the glorious woodland I mentioned before heading back in for a spot of dancing. A great day! Big congrats to you both x
