Jo + Max

I was really excited when I got this wedding enquiry as the wedding venue was a new one for me, The Millennium Gallery in Sheffield. I’ve obviously been in here before so I new what a gorgeous light space it was… The date was the 3rd May, and I met with Jo and the girls getting ready at The Leopold Hotel before heading over to the gallery – which as you can see looked amazing. Max’s mum had hand-stitched every piece of bunting, but her hard work certainly paid off, it looked gorgeous. The ceremony was lovely and funny in parts (especially when Jo got so swept away in the moment she forgot to say her lines!) After the service guests were able to relax in the outdoor space with the sun shining while we took some photographs… we also popped into the Winter Gardens… the snooker final was on at the time… I did try to get a pic with Steve Davis but the security man was having none of it, he was live on air at the time! We then returned to the guests not before doing a spot of rainbow chasing! There was lots to love at this wedding and I really enjoyed capturing everybody and of course all the beautiful kids there who were great, especially Amelia & Joseph ;) x

Nicola + Alex

I’ve said it before, but I am really lucky to do a job that I love and even luckier when the day I’m photographing is surrounded by such lovely people! Nicola & Alex got married on the 2nd May 2015 at All Saints Church in Aston with their reception at Aston Hall. I met with the girls excitedly getting ready in the morning before the wedding service at All Saints Church which was lovely and personal and  carried out by Alex’s Uncle. Nicola looked amazing in her Emily gown :) After the service we headed over to Aston Hall (no need to dwell on the weather… ok so there were a few drops of rain but who cares Aston Hall is gorgeous inside and out!)  After some pics the wedding breakfast was served – thanks again for inviting me to join the wedding party for the meal, I’ve had quite a few wedding meals and this was honestly one of the best! A lovely day from start to finish :)
